I am Andy Drummond and live on the Blackdown Hills between Honiton, in Devon, to the south and Wellington, in Somerset, to the north. I work as a full-time administrator (during the week) and this web-site is my current project when not at work, if you like, it's my village shop and on-line journal from up in the East Devon hills......where I have lived for over 20 years. Despite how it's often made to appear, I don't think the internet is particularly friendly to small enterprise, it should be made much more user friendly, because it would be great if there was a medium that was fair to all - but unless you try you don't know - so, well, at least I have made a start!
Like a lot of young boys (and probably a few girls) I have had a fascination for model cars since primary school (mostly Matchbox models as Corgi and Dinky were too expensive for me to collect at the time) and the interest remained through time, This would have been in the early to mid 1960's and I remember owning a Vauxhall Cresta, a Lincoln Continental and a Jaguar MkII but as my collection seemed to get passed on to younger members of the family I don't know where they are now? I am also a football fan and have followed Bristol Rovers since about the same age and have been lucky enough to see them play a few times this season, it would be nice to think they could get to the championship before long, then who knows, we just need an Abramovich with a Bristol accent and we're in Europe! I also enjoy photography and have taken all the photos on this site with a Canon Powershot Pro1 digital compact camera, I hope you like our village scenes but I enjoyed taking those of the model cars too - they are the actual cars, so what you see is what you could get!.
I intend to constantly update this site and any constructive comments for improvement will be welcome at......
